The active ingredient of CMIT/MIT is Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone with a mixture of 3:1, the total concentration is 14%, also known as Kathon. The isothiazolinones is effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeast, and fungi.

Effectively control the growth of bacteria and algae and slime in water
Good clay stripping effect and certain dispersion and permeability
Effectively remove algae propagation and slime growth
With ability of deodorization and corrosion inhibition.
