Product Description

Benzisothiazolinone ,BIT 20 is a 20% aqueous dipropylene glycol solution of Benzisothiazolinone. It is a broad spectrum, formaldehyde free, in can biocide for the preservation of industrial water based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeast and fungi.


BIT 20 is effective against a wide range of microorganisms including gam positive and gram negative bacteria, yeast and fungi and compatible with most raw materials used in the manufacture of industrial products.


BIT 20 is effective against a wide range of spoilage organisms and effective over a wide PH and temperature range. BIT 20 should be the biocide of choice for products with PH greater than8 and production temperatures of greater than 40C.
